THE WELL AT ASU

Christianity As A Lifestyle, Rather Than A Decision.

The Well at ASU - Christian Student Group

The Well is a Bible believing Christian Student Group on ASU's Main Tempe Campus focused on making Disciples who make Disciples. We are a community of believers who together are preparing for a life of Discipleship after college.

We are connected with a local church called Desert's End Church Community, which meets on Sunday Mornings inside Tempe Prep High School. We meet frequently throughout the week and attempt to "live life together" in hopes of spurring one another on to a fully surrendered, fully dependent, life in Christ.

Jesus meets a woman at a Well in John Chapter 4, and tells her that he can give her "Living Water" that will make her never thirst again. This is our desire; to taste of the Lord in such a way that our hearts do not desire (thirst) for anything this world has to offer us. We also take seriously the call in Matthew 28, when Jesus tells all believers to "Go and make Disciples of all nations" by trying to bring the Gospel to new students through our resources and relationships.

Weekly Events Schedule

Bible Study at ASU
The full group meets together on a weekly basis at 7:30pm at the MU Starbucks Outside Patio to walk through either a topic-teaching or a chapter-teaching to better understand the Bible and how we can obey it in our everyday lives. The Bible is currently, and has always been, under attack by the culture around it. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, is infallible, and is given to us to reveal who God is as well as provide instruction for how we should live our time here on Earth.
Christian Small Groups at ASU
We break into smaller groups that meet at ASU throughout the week to better learn about and practice life together, and to grow closer with each other over the strengths and struggles we each have. There are so many things that a large group cannot accomplish when it comes to ministering to its members hearts and preparing people for a life of Discipleship. Our weekly Christian Small groups at ASU aim to grow in deeper fellowship with each other and prepare our members for being the hands and feet of Christ. If you would like to be part of one of these groups, Contact Us to see when/where they meet throughout the week.
Social Events
We're college students, so we like hanging out! In addition to whatever social events our small groups do, our full group meets once a month (on the last Friday of each month) to do social events to enjoy the fellowship of other believers, and invite friends into that same community.
